NYL: Old thing!
PYP: You ass! It's 1:30 in the morning!
NYL: You're awake aren't you?
PYP: I was busy.
NYL: No doubt you were. But get your mind focussed on me for a minute.
PYP: Oh it was already.
NYL: How flattering. I'm having some problems with this girl...
PYP: What now?
NYL: Mixed signals
PYP: How mixed?
NYL: Rudeness, sweetness and a tendency to provoke me to be nasty.
PYP: Is attracted, but thinks you're not her type.
NYL: I wasn't asking what you felt about me, old thing.
PYP: Don't flatter yourself!
NYL: You're no help!
PYP: What do you have my number entered in your phonebook as? The Aching Hearts Helpline?
NYL: No, as Nastiness on Demand
PYP: I'm really not in the mood...
NYL: Now thats not something one hears you say very often.
PYP: Are you saying I'm a tramp?
NYL: No, I'm saying you're the best thing that ever happened to me.
PYP: What about this girl you're having problems with?
NYL: -stoic silence-
PYP: Oh!
NYL: Well?
PYP: No.
NYL: Should I start the pathetic plea now?
PYP: Save it for the daytime. And put this conversation on that stupid blog of yours. Let everyone know how despicable you are.
NYL: I shall. Good night.
PYP: You know I'll be feeling guilty all night!
NYL: And whose fault is that?
PYP: I'm not going over this again.
NYL: Suit yourself!
PYP: I did!
NYL: Blah.

i don't doubt your tag will be a lot of fun, m'dear, but my end-trimester exams start tomorrow and run till 1 Oct, so it becomes a matter of logistics and time-management rather than inclination :) Will get to it once that is over though. i promise!

I typed it while waiting for CP to show up actually, and it's terse because it was a pretty terse coversation. As for who the parties involved are, that's for the reader to interpret...and I really have a mental block about studying, it's not a facade or anything. I don't know what the problem is, probably psychological.
A promise from a soulless sea-monster. Now thats a first :)
